FAITHFUL HEZEKIAH / FAITHFUL YOU
Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered. (2 Chronicles 31:20-21 ESV)
Hezekiah is an excellent example of faithfulness to God. “He did what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God.” May this be said of you as well.
Paul addresses faithfulness with these words:
“11 The saying is trustworthy, for:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him;
12 if we endure, we will also reign with him;
if we deny him, he also will deny us;
13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—
for he cannot deny himself.”
Lord, please grant me the same faithful insight You gave to Hezekiah so that I, too, may seek You with all of my heart. In Jesus’ saving name. Amen.
