LIFE WALK Saturday, June 4, 2022 -

"I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You. For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen." (Luther's Morning Prayer)

LIFE WALK

Day 155 - (Today’s Bible readings:  1 Kings 7:45–8:11; Psalm 124; 3 John 1–15)

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. (3 John 1:4)

Today is the annual fundraiser for A Place of Refuge. LIFE WALK refers to the fact that we walking in support of the gift of life. While John’s words certainly apply to our walk today, they are meant to point to walking in the truth of the Christian faith, namely that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. May this truth give you peace and joy today and always!
