Day 205 - (Today’s Bible readings: Numbers 23:27-24:9; Psalm 23; John 8:1-11)
“The Lord is my shepherd.... Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” (Psalm 23: KJV)
Does your life show that you believe that the Lord is your shepherd?
Does your life show that you believe that you are living in the goodness and mercy part of your life?
Does your life show that you believe that the best is yet to come – in the house of the Lord forever?
Goodness and mercy, all my life,
Shall surely follow me;
And in God's house forevermore
My dwelling-place shall be.
Dearest Lord Jesus, my good Shepherd, thank You for laying down Your life down for You wayward sheep, including me. Help me to see Your goodness and mercy now, and to look forward to being with You in Your eternal house in heaven. Amen.
