April 27, 2018 - REMEMBER WHAT GOD HAS DONE

Day 117 - (Today’s Bible readings: Exodus 34:29-35:29; Psalm 108; Mark 8:11–21)

Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened?  Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? (Mark 8:17-18 ESV)

The disciples find themselves low on bread. Jesus counters their fear of hunger with a somewhat biting call to remember, to remember all that he can do with bread.

19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?” (Mark 8:19-21 ESV)

Do you remember all that Jesus has done for you? If so, then “impossible” is not in your vocabulary.

● He paid for all of your sins when He died on the cross.
● He promises to walk with you every day.
● He feeds you with His body and blood every time you come to Communion.
● He promises you that the best is yet to come.

Lord Jesus, than You for being my Savior and my constant companion. Please help me to never forget all that You have done for me.  Amen.
