January 11, 2019 - DON’T FORGET US, O GOD

Day 11 - (Today’s Bible readings: Joshua 17; Psalm 10; Acts 19:1-10)

“Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
    forget not the afflicted.” (Psalm 10:12 ESV)

Lord have mercy!
Christ have mercy!
Lord has mercy!

Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.
Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.

Lord God thank You for not forgetting me and for having mercy on me. May I ever take comfort in Your gifts of the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105 ), is the theme for this three-year journey through the entire Old Testament once (the Psalms - twice yearly), and the New Testament twice. There will be daily readings from the O.T., Psalms and the N.T. Special days on the church calendar will be highlighted with appropriate readings. This calendar has been compiled by representatives of the Lutheran Church of Canada, the North American Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.
