June 15, 2018 - HONESTY

Day 166 - (Today’s Bible readings: Leviticus 26:1-22; Psalm 135; 1 Corinthians 15:50-16:4)

“A false witness will not go unpunished,
and he who breathes out lies will perish.”   (Proverbs 19:9 ESV)

Honesty is not the best policy, it’s the only policy. Besides that, it is God’s will. Dishonesty brings His punishment. So...

If you lips would keep from slips,
these things observe with care,
to whom you speak, of whom you speak,
and how and when and where.

Heavenly Father, thank You for forgiving all of my sins, including the times I have not been honest. Please keep my words true, especially when I am attempting to point others to You. Amen.

Pastor David Paape
