June 16, 2018 - HIS STEADFAST LOVE ENDURES FOREVER

Day 167 - (Today’s Bible readings: Leviticus 26:23-46; Psalm 136; 1 Corinthians 16:5-24)

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever... 4 to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever; 5 to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever... 26 Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.” (Psalm 136 ESV)

“This great psalm of thanksgiving praises God for His acts of creation and redemption, both in history and in the lives of His people. Every detail at every stage is a sign of God’s steadfast love, which throughout human history, endures forever. The psalm is about God’s action, not ours.” (The Lutheran Study Bible, Concordia Publishing House, 2009, page 981)

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me and sending Jesus to be my Savior from sin. And now, because Your steadfast love endures forever, so will I. Until then, use me to share Your steadfast love with others. Amen.

“See” you in church tomorrow.
