REJOICE IN THE PROTECTION OF THE LORD

“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice;
    let them ever sing for joy,
and spread your protection over them,
    that those who love your name may exult in you.” (Psalm 5:11 ESV)

Christian song writer Rick Founds gets at what it means to exult in the name of the Lord in this way:

Almighty God, with great joy I thank You for protecting me from sin, death and the devil by paying my debt on the cross. I will praise You name forever. Amen.
