Day 352 - Acts Saturday (23-24)
Neither can they prove to you what they now bring up against me. But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets, having a hope in God, which these men themselves accept, that there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust. (Acts 23:13-15 ESV)
Paul defends himself against his Jewish accusers. He states his loyalty to the Law and the Prophets while also proclaiming hope in Jesus. This former Pharisee is now following the Way. He is following Jesus.
Whom are you following?
You are the way; through You alone
Can we the Father find;
In You, O Christ, has God revealed
His heart and will and mind.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for being my way to God the Father. Thank You for being my way out of sin. Please help me to follow Your way. Amen.
