Day 357 - Song of Solomon Thursday (Chapters 5-6)
“I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem,
if you find my beloved, that you tell him
I am sick with love.” (Song of Solomon 5:8 ESV)
Her love is elusive. She can’t find him. She is confused.
“Life is often confusing. When our Lord comes to us, we may be slow to hear and to believe. We may look for Him and not find Him where or as we want. In such times of confusion, call on the Lord in prayer and seek Him in His Word. He promises to hear and to comfort you.
O Lord, we need You. Do not forsake us, for if we are left to ourselves, we will surely perish. Amen”
