Day 163 - Luke Saturday
Jesus ... took a child and put him by his side and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me.” (Luke 9:47-48 ESV)
Jesus is teaching us to serve Him by serving others. That is exactly what A Place of Refuge is all about, serving the Lord by helping mothers and their babies in need.
Please pray for us today. This is the day of our annual Life Walk, our major annual fund raiser. For 23 years God has greatly blessed our efforts to be His love to those we serve. What a joy to hold a little baby in your arms who is here because God’s people offered a helping hand in Jesus’ name.
Lord, thank You for blessing the ministry of A Place of Refuge and all of the many women and children served throughout the years. Please bless today’s Life Walk. In the name of Jesus, the Lord of Life. Amen.
